PT Sungming Metal Indonesia is a Foreign Investment Company (PMA) established in Indonesia to expand the industrial presence of SUNGMIN Metal Co., Ltd. Korea. Guided by the values of quality, technology, and customer success, we bring premium non-ferrous manufacturing capabilities to the rapidly growing Southeast Asian market.

With an operational model rooted in engineering precision, we cater directly to electrical power systems, structural metal works, and major supply chains. Our production systems focus on smelting, continuous casting, and high-performance copper extrusion, maintaining strict adherence to Korean and Japanese Industrial Standards.

2001

Company Establishment

Incorporated SUNGMIN Metal Co., Ltd. in Korea with a capital of 600 million KRW.

2002

Indonesian Connection

Initiated imports and trading of non-ferrous metal materials; opened the branch office in Indonesia.

2010

Gimpo Factory Expansion

Moved to a newly built factory in Gimpo City. Installed continuous casting lines and built high-pressure gas storage structures.

2011

Production Scaling

Began full-scale production of Copper Billet & Ingot. Selected as a blue-chip enterprise by IBK and expanded the facility for Copper Bus-bar lines.

2012

Standards & Certificates

Obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates. Received the prestigious Korean Industrial Standards (KS D 5530) certificate for Copper Bus-bars.

2013-2014

Technological Breakthrough

Achieved annual sales of 100 billion KRW. Commissioned heavy copper extrusion systems and straighteners; showcased products in global metal exhibitions.

2026

PT Sungming Metal Indonesia

Formally launched PT Sungming Metal Indonesia as a PMA (Foreign Investment Company) to scale local manufacturing & serve regional B2B partners.
